This has been a very exciting week in the Blogger Amy household. We put our deposit down for a trip to Walt Disney World® in October! This is a big change for us to go in the fall, but with our school now giving us a full week off for fall break, we have more options for when we travel to see Mickey and friends. I'll be able to check off two major Disney bucket list items this trip - attending Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Getting my quote, exploring resort options, and placing the deposit was super easy because for the third year in a row, I worked with a MousePros agent.
Step 1 was emailing my MousePros agent and telling her when we were looking to travel, how many nights we wanted to stay, and what resorts we were considering. She emailed me that same day with quotes for three different resorts. For this trip, I was deciding between my favorite, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.
The quotes were all within a few dollars of each other, so the decision was easy for us. We just can't break away from the Boardwalk. We'll be testing out the Studio Villas at Disney's Boardwalk Inn this time, which I am really excited about. The Villas are part of the Disney Vacation Club, but when there is inventory available, any guest is able to book a Studio, 1-Bedroom, or 2-Bedroom Villa at any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts.

The Studio Villa we are staying in is slightly bigger than a regular room at Disney's Boardwalk Inn, has a different furniture set up, plus a few additional kitchen amenities such as a microwave, glassware, and disposable utensils and plates.
Step 2 was emailing my MousePros agent to let her know which room we were interested in and she was able to put the room on hold for us. We had 72-hours from that time to put our deposit down or the room would go back into available inventory. She answered our questions about the room we chose and walked us through the rest of the package.
Our package includes four nights at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and 4-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option. We debated on a 5-Day Ticket, but we also like having the first day to relax, enjoy the pool, and get our bearings before we wake up for our first Rope Drop the next day. Once we hit the parks for the first time, we are going hard the rest of the vacation and taking serious advantage of those Park Hopper Passes!
Step 3 was calling my MousePros agent with my credit card to put down our $200 deposit and securing our Studio Villa. She emailed me my confirmation number and reservation details within minutes of our conversation. I was able to login to the My Disney Experience app later that day and see our reservation linked to my account.
With our reservation secure, we now get to think about the fun stuff - Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) and FastPass+ (FP+) selections. MousePros agents are extremely knowledgeable about all things related to your Disney vacation and can help you determine which Table Service restaurants would be best based on your dietary preferences, party size, dining plan credits, and itinerary for each day of your trip. They can also help you decide which rides to secure a FastPass+ for based on party size, ride restrictions (such as height and physical considerations), and daily itinerary.
My MousePros agent will send me email reminders 1-2 weeks prior to the 180-day mark when I can make ADRs and again 1-2 weeks prior to the 60-day mark when I can make FastPass+ selections. She will even send me a list of which attractions I can choose from in each park for my FP+ selections.
I will email her back our selections and then the day of ADRs and FP+ selections, she will wake up early, login to my My Disney Experience account, and secure my selections for me. When I say early, I mean she is up, awake, and ready to work by 6 am EST the day of ADR selections and by 7 am EST the day of FP+ selections.
