Celebrate Halloween at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

It's back-to-school time across the country, but in Walt Disney World®, it's already time to celebrate Halloween at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The first party kicked off on Friday, August 25th, and our very own Jared Pitzer was in attendance. He took lots of photos so that all of MousePros' agents, clients, and fans can virtually experience the fun!

If you take away nothing else from this post, I want you to remember this: you need a special event ticket to gain access to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The special event tickets start at $74. Your MousePros agent is happy to help you purchase party tickets so that you can get into the party, and he or she will explain to you in detail how and when you can enter the park and the party.

There is plenty of fun to be had by the entire family that you'll find only at Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There is a special Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show performed in front of Cinderella Castle at three different times during the party. If you're a villain fan, you'll definitely want to check this show out.

Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade happens at two different times, with the Happy Hallowishes fireworks taking place in between the two parade times. Make sure you grab a copy of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2017 Guide Map to confirm the times for these special shows and parades.

Plenty of attractions are open during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. However, FastPass+ will not be available for any attraction, so make sure you carefully plan your time to be able to go on your favorite rides. You can visit Town Square Theater or play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, head over to Fantasyland to ride Peter Pan's Flight or visit the princesses in Princess Fairytale Hall, take on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland, or take a break from the action on Tomorrowland Transit Authority: People Mover. There are more attractions open throughout the park, so be sure to consult Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2017 Guide Map for a full list.

No Walt Disney World® party would be complete without character meet-and-greets, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is no exception. There are many characters in attendance, some favorites and some of whom are seen only at special events, such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Lotso, the Seven Dwarfs, Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Cruella DeVil.
