Christmas is in full swing at Walt Disney World®, more details are out on Disneyland California Adventure's Pixar-themed makeover, there are new dining options at Disney Springs®, and the parks are preparing to celebrate Mickey’s birthday in this week’s In Case You Missed It.
Walt Disney World® made several big holiday reveals this week as all four parks prepare to celebrate the most wonderful time of year in the most magical place on earth. Jingle Cruise, the holiday overlay to the popular Jungle Cruise attraction at Magic Kingdom® Park, returned on November 2nd.
Decorations are starting to go up in all four parks, and this year the big Christmas tree in Disney’s Hollywood Studios® can be found in Echo Lake!
Elsewhere in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, testing has begun for the Hollywood Tower of Terror® projections for Sunset Season’s Greetings. The Hollywood Toy Hotel looks incredible!
Overnight rehearsals are beginning for the shows and parades that take place in Magic Kingdom® Park during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you’re staying in a Magic Kingdom® Park area hotel on these dates, you might even catch a glimpse of the rehearsals!
In my favorite news of the week, a new walk up window is coming soon to the Mexico pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Choza de Margarita features frozen and on-the-rocks margaritas (mmm…Lime Cucumber), Mexican beers, and Mexican street fare.

Three new Italian restaurants are opening in Disney Springs® this winter.
Disneyland’s Pixar Pier is set to open in 2018 with four newly themed neighborhoods in Disneyland’s California Adventure® Park. Attractions such as California Screamin’ and Mickey’s Fun Wheel will get new permanent Pixar themes.
